Mlamba mixed day High School is a sub-County school founded on Christian values (catholic sponsored). It is situated in upper coast region, Taita-Taveta County, Mwatate Sub-County, Bura location in Mrughua, at the foot of Vuria Hills (the highest point of coast region). The school is located about 30 Km form Mwatate town.
Mlamba High School was officially inaugurated by the former President of Kenya, H.E President Mwai Kibaki on 31st August 2007 and admitted its first students on 10th March 2009 (form one) whose roll was 90 students, (50 girls and 40 boys). The pioneer Principal was Mr Mwagesha Mwachofi, who did a wonderful job in putting in place the basic infrastructure.
Currently, the school has an enrolment of 214 students, 104 girls and 110 boys under the stewardship of Mr Patrick Mukhwaya, who took over from Mr Mwachofi as Principal at the beginning of 2016
